Opus Literary Alliance
Welcome to our community of literary thinkers, authors, and readers…

We are a 501(c)3 membership organization formed exclusively for charitable, literary, and educational purposes. Our vision is to enhance the visibility and preserve the legacy of lesbian, women loving women, and sapphic literature.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance literary and educational opportunities for members, preserve our legacies, and to celebrate, promote, and support lesbian, women loving women, and sapphic literature. OPUS Literary Alliance seeks to cultivate a vibrant community by uniting readers, writers, publishers, and affiliated members with the resources, information, services, and connections they need to thrive.

Our Values

We believe in a literary space that welcomes and amplifies voices from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
Integrity
We strive for honesty, transparency, and ethical practices in all our collaborations, events, and publications.
Creativity
We foster an environment that encourages innovation, imagination, and the courage to explore new literary frontiers.
Our Goals

OPUS Literary Alliance seeks to attract literary types of all ages and from all walks of life, inviting them to connect with our programming and community, both to enrich their skills and enrich their lives.
We strive to elevate our educational and artistic standards, remaining open and responsive to changing conditions in the worldwide literary scene.
We provide an educational environment that fosters the artistic, intellectual, and personal growth of our writing community and offers continuing support as they embark on successful careers.
We take an active role in preserving legacies and the future of our literature by offering exemplary education, recognizing the best books, and encouraging literary advocacy.
We nurture a diverse, supportive community and uplift the voices of those traditionally marginalized—persons of color, refugees, the homeless, and those identifying as lesbian, women loving women, or sapphic.
We believe that writing and reading empower lives, promote empathy, and foster deep understanding across communities.
